When I’m credentialing an applicant, do I have
to print the letters as I enter the information? A:
No, you enter your information first and then you print
the letters. You can do the letters for multiple applicants
at one time and they will print in a batch, with a
separate
set for each applicant—with labels. MEDSTAFF® prints
letters only for items that have not been verified.
For example, if you verify the license on the Internet,
MEDSTAFF does not print a letter.
Q: Do I have to enter
the addresses for each letter? A: Addresses are stored in various tables;
if the address
you need isn’t
there, you can add it directly from the entry screen. You’ll
only need to add an address once.
Q: All of my doctors’ licenses expire at once. Do I
have to update each record one at a time? A:
No, MEDSTAFF has a batch update process that allows
you to update them
all at once.
Q: How are the MEDSTAFF
updates run? A: They are run from the Utility Menu in MEDSTAFF.
You can run them
yourself. You do not need IT staff’s support
to run the updates.
Q: Another department
needs data in Excel format.
Can I export data for her? A: Yes. You
can also export for use
in Word
and many other formats.
Q: Can I scan in my doctors’ photos
and use them in rosters? A: Yes, you can import scannd
photos into the database. They will show up in
the Personal section of each provider’s
record in MEDSTAFF. A photo roster is included
in MEDSTAFF and you can modify it or add others. You
can also import license, DEA and insurance images.

Do you do on-site training? A: Yes. Training
is included in our price quotes. If you prefer, we can
conduct training over the internet.
Q: What kind of technical
support do you offer? A: We offer support
by phone, email and webinar 14 hours each business
day from our California and North Carolina
offices.

Do you charge extra to set up my credentialing letters?
A: No, customizing your letters is standard. We also
customize other items, such as reappointment forms.
Q: Are updates included
in the price? A: Yes, your annual license
fee includes updates
and unlimited support.
Q: If I start with five
users, can I add new users later? A:
Yes, you
may
add as many
individual users as you need.
There is a charge for each user.
